About the School
About the School Nestled in the gently rolling hills of picturesque Namphok village, under Yangang BAC in South Sikkim, Namphok Secondary School started first with community effort. It was formally recognised and registered as Government Primary School Namphok in 1973. Thereafter it was upgraded to a Junior High School in the year 1982. It was upgraded as Government Secondary School Namphok in 1997. The school has infrastructural facilities that are modern and safe with a playground and hall. It is run by a staff of teachers who are trained, professional and dedicated, assisted by a strong team of support staff. At present the school has 250 plus students.

Unless our children receive quality education they are at a grave disadvantage; and Government Secondary School Namphok with its team of dedicated staff strives to provide an environment that nurtures and encourages creative minds. The belief that "every child can be made capable" pushes us to work harder and live up to the aspirations of all stake holders of our institution.
